Why consider private training vs. group classes?
There are many qualified classes being offered in our area. Classes will vary in size, price and training techniques.
The comments I often hear about class results is that pups and dogs listened great in the class environment but did not respond the same way at home, in the yard, or around the neighborhood. Classes also divide your time with the instructor.
My programs differ because they allow a one on one ratio. The only time divided might be amoung your family members who are all welcome in each program. Private training with me allows you to address training and changing behaviors right where they happen. Not only do sessions include your home and yard but they also include the neighborhood or park. Private training allows me the flexibility to create a program that will meet the training needs for your pup or dog. In my programs I come to you saving travel time. Appointments are scheduled late mornings, afternoons, early evenings and on occaisional Saturdays.
I have more than one dog. How do you price your training fees?
In my Canine Coach I come to your home to spend an hour with you. There is no additional cost if you have two or three dogs. Depending which dog needs help we divide the hour accordingly or work with them all together. This is a real value over classes. In a class you would have to pay for each dog attending.
Due to the amount of time that is involved in BOOT CAMP the discount for a second dog attending the same week is half the amount of the first dog.
If I choose BOOT CAMP how many other dogs are trained during the same week?
When you reserve a spot for your pup or dog in my BOOT CAMP program you can be assured that your dog has my full attention. Only an owner who has two dogs enrolled from the same family would share time together in training.
How do I choose the right program?
You are the best judge of your time. That is the most important part of your participation in one of my programs.
If you have the time my Canine Coach program is a favorite. This program allows you to follow up on your next appointment when you are ready. You can pre-book a lesson for the following week, 10 days or two weeks. Often clients opt to call or email when they are ready to continue with their next appointment.
If your time is very limited then my BOOT CAMP program would be a better choice. What takes me a day in BOOT CAMP would take the average family a week in Canine Coach. At the end of evey BOOT CAMP day I offer a min-lesson to go over the concepts learned that day or the lesson is used to address a behavior concern. At the end of the week you would receive a complete hour to catch you up on all the commands your pup or dog has learned throughout their BOOT CAMP week.
New for this year is my Mini BOOT CAMP. You'd be amazed how your pup or dog will change in even one half day of training or one full day. Mini BOOT CAMP also includes a lesson at the end of your pet's training day with me.
